About Chip Barber

Chip Barber is a versatile musician, producer and composer with decades of experience creating music for advertising, corporate communications and artistic projects.

After graduating from Berklee College of Music with a degree in Music Production and Engineering, Chip worked as an assistant engineer at Metro Studios in Minneapolis. There he learned real-world recording, production, and sound design skills while working alongside extremely talented musicians on a variety of albums.

Over time, Chip's repertoire expanded to include video and motion graphics production but his passion for music remained undiminished. Chip has collaborated with a wide range of musicians and artists. He continues to produce music for various projects across genres like electronic, pop, and cinematic/orchestral compositions.
